How to play Lurkers.io

Join a server and pick a mode. Mine blocks to collect materials, build walls and towers to protect yourself, and fight other players with melee and ranged weapons. Because the terrain is fully destructible, the map changes constantly during a match: a safe tunnel can become a trap, and a bridge can disappear under someone’s feet. Respawns are quick, so you can always jump back in.

Rounds are relatively short, and respawns are quick, so you are rarely out of the action for long. Because every block can be broken or placed, two rounds on the same server never play the same way. Bases, bridges and tunnels appear and disappear constantly, and players who adapt to the changing terrain have a big advantage.

Building to win fights

The best Lurkers.io players use blocks as a weapon. A quick wall stops arrows, a pillar gets you above an enemy, and a pit can trap an opponent who chases you. Keep a stack of blocks on your hotbar at all times and you will be ready to react in any fight.

Tips and strategies for Lurkers.io

Always carry blocks for quick walls and bridges.
Gain height before a fight: attacking from above is easier.
Use the bow to soften enemies before switching to the sword.
Dig down to escape when you are losing a fight.
Watch for players digging under your base.
Seal the tunnel behind you when you dig an escape route, so nobody can follow.
Build a small roof over your head if you are being shot at with arrows from above.
