About Venge io

Venge.io is an online arena shooter created by Cem Demir of OnRush Studio and launched in 2020. It mixes classic FPS gunplay with hero abilities and a card system. You pick one of four heroes, choose a weapon and fight over objectives on compact maps. Matches are quick, the movement is snappy, and the game runs on PCs, phones and tablets straight from the browser.

Maps and objectives

Each standard map comes with its own objective mode:

  • Sierra (Point): hold the green capture area in a desert map to score and unlock ability tiers.
  • Xibalba (Black Coin): eliminated players drop black coins. Collect them and deliver them to the green zone in the temple.
  • Tundra (Gun Game): every elimination swaps your weapon for the next one. Get through the full list to win.
  • Mistle (Payload): push a minecart toward the enemy side by standing in the green zone around it.
  • Scraper (Point): a tighter, Asian-inspired map for close and medium-range fights.

The community has also created many custom maps and modes, and you can open a private room and share the link with friends.

Heroes

  • Lilium: an area-damage grenade, plus a hammer for melee hits.
  • Shin: a shuriken that damages and debuffs, plus a melee dash.
  • Echo: a throwing axe, plus a grappling hook that pulls you to a chosen spot.
  • Kulu: the newest hero. OnRush leaves his abilities for you to discover.

Weapons include the Scar, AK47 and M4 assault rifles, a shotgun, the Tec-9 SMG, a sniper rifle, a light machine gun and the Desert Eagle pistol.

Controls

  • W, A, S, D: move. Space: jump
  • Left click: shoot. Right click or Shift: aim down sights
  • Scroll wheel: switch weapons. R: reload
  • E: melee ability. F: throw grenade / main ability
  • B: buy. Hold B: turn cards
  • H: dance. Enter: chat. Esc: leaderboard

Cards: the twist

During a match you earn cards. Holding B lets you turn them, triggering effects that can swing a fight, such as stunning or blinding enemies, or changing health. Knowing when to use a card, for instance just before a big push onto the point, separates good players from great ones.

Tips

  • Play the objective. Standing on the point or the payload unlocks your ability tiers. Kills alone won’t win a Point match.
  • Match the hero to the map. Echo’s grappling hook is great on vertical maps. Lilium’s grenade punishes groups holding a small zone.
  • Use melee abilities to finish. A dash or hammer hit often ends a fight faster than reloading.
  • Don’t over-scope. Aiming down sights slows you down. In close fights, hip-fire and keep moving.
  • Save a card for the end of a round. A well-timed stun on defenders can win a point in the final seconds.

Why it stands out

Many browser shooters only offer team deathmatch. Venge.io gives each map its own objective, so matches feel different depending on where you land. The heroes add a light layer of strategy without turning it into a slow tactical game. The developer has said the game passed tens of millions of plays on web portals.

More shooters are waiting in our shooting games and multiplayer games categories. Deadshot.io offers pure gunplay, and Shell Shockers is a lighter, egg-themed alternative.

Matches are short enough to fit a quick break, and the scoreboard (Esc) shows at a glance whether your team needs more people on the objective.
